Marg and Petes 30th Wedding Anniversary

Smiths' 30th Wedding Anniversary Party - 26th July 2014
Pete and Marg.

The main reason we headed home for a short time, was primarily for Marg & Pete's party (plus some skiing!). Michael went back to the farm to help out with party preparations, and helped Pete with the lamb for the spit.
The Lamb after Peter, Chris and Michael prepared it.

There were quite a few people invited to the house, a huge amount of food and beverages on offer - and everyone is rugged up well!
Shahn's Parents - Darryl & Robbie
Chris and Egbert - getting amongst the spit
Bethanne and the fairy lights (she was hating getting her photo taken, love it Bethanne!)

Trying to get all the Smiths' in one photo was a a feat! (and Shahn)

NZ Snow Trip 2014
18th July - 28th July 2014

After Chris picked me up from Queenstown, we drove the long way around to Wanaka (not over the Crown Range). We stopped at Lake Dunstan and it was flat as, with awesome reflections.

Diana looks to be contemplating life as she looks back towards Queenstown…..

Michael and Shahn, only got one day up in the snow together but it was worth it. Although we lost Bethanne when we were heading to Captains Run.
Michael and Shahn

We headed back to Invercargill way to catch up with Michael's parents and rest of the family, as it was Marg and Petes' 30th Wedding Anniversary (another blog to come with pics!)
Off on a bike ride up into the long wood's, we met the neighbours and had a chat.
Chris and Karen on the ride, looking cool.

This movie is not that great as a lot of the footage was just iced up camera from the very cold weather, so I only had getting off the chair lift with Alex, and I missed getting any footage of Dallas, while she cut up the slopes, but hope everyone enjoys it.
